Development
Nucleus focuses on two paths of development:
Laman Gray, M.D., has been the Director of the University of Louisville School of Medicine’s Division of thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery for more than twenty years. He was one of the four primary clinical investigators that brought ABIOMED’s BVS 5000 temporary cardiac support system to clinical approval by the FDA.
1. Growing companies that result from research discoveries at UofL. Through its research, University has moved 22 life science startup companies into the marketplace in 9 years.
2. And, Nucleus is recruiting companies to nurture their progress as commercial enterprises. The caliber of research and talent affiliated with Nucleus is an essential factor to its appeal: the opportunity to work closely with leaders in life sciences.
